Vacuum Excavation and Service Locations
PRO-DRILL's fleet of up-to-date equipment includes a truck mounted excavation unit for passive drilling, vacuum excavation and service locations. The unit includes a spoils tank with a capacity of 3028 liters and a fresh water tank that holds 757 liters. It operates a 500cfm vacuum pump with 380mm Hg vacuum and a 15.9 liters per minute pressure washer.
The “Ditch Witch FX-30” makes service location safer, cleaner and more efficient. Using water to dislodge soil, the vacuum system sucks the waste back to a holding tank on the truck for off site disposal.
PRO-DRILLs Vacuum Excavation System ensures precisely controlled excavations. Water is directed through a hand held scope for displacement with minimal disruption to the immediate area. After the utility is located or the excavation complete, the technician can report details of the depth etc. to the client.
Use of the unit can ensure environmental and resource management regulations are met by safely preventing spoils from entering the storm water system or surroundings. It is also particularly useful for keeping sites free of drilling fluids, specifically during directional drilling.
The vacuum unit is also ideal for cleaning out manholes, catch sumps, conduits and pipes, vehicle wash pits and even grease traps. In addition it can be used for the safe clean up of spills and can excavate loose soils by air vacuum. Reinstatement is kept to a minimum with smaller excavations allowing adequate exposure of specific problem sites. The unit is available for external hire.
